Second week, second game
Saturday I went out to another high school football game, I was out at the Alcoa Maryville game. It was pretty crazy out there, if the stadium would have been four or five times bigger it would have almost reminded me of games in Texas. I was told people started arriving at 1:30 in the afternoon for the 7 PM game. Hall of Fame football player Jerry Rice was there to do the coin toss. He threw it up in the air and it never landed, it went down one of the players jersey’s. They asked who had another coin and no one did, so I shared my fifty cent coin for Jerry Rice to do the coin toss, pretty funny. I had to leave early to make deadline but it was one of the better games I’ve seen in Tennessee and here are three photos from the game.
