A few weeks ago I was out to make portraits of a local doctor. We set up in the lobby and gift shop to make the photos and she was great to work with. I always try to make my portrait sessions short for my subject, meaning I’m set up and ready when they arrive. People and particularly doctors or CEO’s are busy and I want to make sure we get the photo we need but do it as quickly as possible so my subject can get back to work. So I spend time ahead of the portrait and have everything ready when they walk in. It works well and the portraits reflect that.
